Wildflower Seeding Day: Growing Something Together

A community event rooted in joy, connection, and a little bit of mud

We believe that plants have the power to bring people together — not just in homes, but in communities too. That’s why we’re beyond excited to share details of our upcoming Wildflower Seeding Day, a hands-on outdoor event where we roll up our sleeves, sow some seeds, and connect with nature and one another.

This isn’t just about planting flowers. It’s about reclaiming spaces, brightening corners of Cheltenham, and creating something lasting that everyone can enjoy. Whether you’ve got a seasoned green thumb or just like being outdoors with good people, this day is for you.

Date: Saturday 25th May 2025
Time: 10am - 1pm
Location: The Community Garden Plot, Montpellier Fields, Cheltenham

What to Expect

We’ll be sowing native wildflower seeds across a shared green space, helping to encourage pollinators, support biodiversity, and create a spot of beauty for everyone to enjoy. All ages are welcome — bring the kids, bring your neighbour, or just bring yourself and get stuck in.

• Free wildflower seed packets for all attendees
• Tools and gloves provided (though feel free to bring your own)
• Guided sowing tips from the Plant Haus team
• Refreshments, cake, and plenty of tea

We’ll also have a mini pop-up stall with our favourite pollinator-friendly indoor plants and some lovely gifts — all in support of our mission to green up every space, big or small.

Why Wildflowers?

Wildflowers aren’t just pretty to look at. They play an important role in the local ecosystem by feeding bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. As more green spaces get paved over or neglected, sowing wildflowers becomes a small but meaningful act of care — for the land and for each other.

Plus, there’s something incredibly peaceful about taking the time to do something simple, tactile, and rooted (literally!) in your own patch of the world.

We started Plant Haus with the belief that plants can change how we live — and when we plant together, they can change how we connect too. This isn’t a commercial event. There’s no sign-up, no pressure, no sales pitch. Just a few hours spent outside doing something kind and meaningful.

Whether you’re looking to meet others in the community, get your hands dirty, or just want to learn more about wildflowers and indoor greenery, you’re warmly invited.
